Polycom RPRM login failure after upgrade to version 10.4

Polycom RPRM login failure after upgrade to version 10.4

RPRM login failure, Polycom Real Presence Resource Manager is case sensitive in version 10.4

You may found the issue that after upgrading the RPRM Polycom system from a previous version, as for example:  “10.3.X” to the new version: “10.4.X”, authentication is not working anymore with the previous working configuration.

Upgrade process is completed with success, but you are not able to sign-in using some Active Directory user credentials anymore.

Example screenshot, of the error that you can get:

So if this is your case, please double check your username as it is created in Active Directory, and put the same in the login web interface.

For example you were doing login like this: “midomain.com\username”, but maybe in AD your username is written like this: “UserName”, so should try: “midomain.com\UserName”

The problem is a known issue by Polycom. It will be fixed either in 10.4.x or in 10.5.

I hope this can be helpful to someone else that after upgrading the RPRM system, has a similar issue.
